Hi, I’m Trish Hoke, the face behind Task Genie Waco.

Task Genie was originally founded in 2021 by Jeanne Rieger, the very first “Genie.” Her mission was simple - to help people find a little breathing room in their busy lives by lending a reliable hand wherever it was needed. When Jeanne retired in 2023, Task Genie took a short pause… but the story didn’t end there.

In 2025, I brought Task Genie back to life because I believe in that same purpose. For more than a decade, I’ve been a small business owner here in the Waco area, and I know how quickly life can fill up with endless to-dos and responsibilities.

After a life-saving liver transplant in 2020, I gained a new perspective on time and what truly makes life meaningful. That experience inspired me to continue Task Genie’s vision - helping families, professionals, small business owners, and seniors by taking care of the day-to-day tasks that can weigh you down.

From errands and organizing to home projects, companion errands, and all the little things in between, my goal is to make life run a little smoother and give you one less thing to worry about.

I couldn’t do this without the love and support of my husband, Chris, and our son, Jude. They’ve been by my side through every step of this journey and continue to remind me that time spent together is what really matters.

I’m so grateful for my family, friends, and this wonderful community. Task Genie Waco isn’t just a business, it’s a way to give back, help others, and bring a little magic to everyday life.
